PENGARUH INTERNET OF T HINGS (IOT) KAMPUS, KOMPETENSI TEKNOLOGI, DAN BUDAYA AKADEMIK DIGITAL TERHADAP KINERJA PERGURUAN TINGGI MELALUI EFEKTIVITAS OPERASIONAL
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh Internet of Things (IoT) Campus, Kompetensi Teknologi, dan Budaya Akademik Digital terhadap Kinerja Perguruan Tinggi melalui Efektivitas Operasional sebagai variabel mediasi di perguruan tinggi se-Sumatera Selatan. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei cross-sectional digunakan, melibatkan 278 responden yang terdiri atas dosen, tenaga kependidikan, dan pimpinan unit dari 14 perguruan tinggi negeri dan swasta. Teknik analisis Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) diaplikasikan untuk menguji hubungan struktural antar konstruk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) IoT Campus berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Efektivitas Operasional (β = 0,412; p < 0,001); (2) Kompetensi Teknologi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Efektivitas Operasional (β = 0,318; p = 0,002); (3) Budaya Akademik Digital berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Efektivitas Operasional (β = 0,276; p = 0,008); (4) Efektivitas Operasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Perguruan Tinggi (β = 0,521; p < 0,001); serta (5) Efektivitas Operasional memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara ketiga variabel independen dengan Kinerja Perguruan Tinggi. Nilai R² konstruk Kinerja Perguruan Tinggi sebesar 0,634 menunjukkan bahwa model memiliki daya penjelas yang substansial. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi manajerial bagi pengelola perguruan tinggi di Sumatera Selatan untuk mengintegrasikan ekosistem IoT, meningkatkan literasi digital sivitas akademika, serta membangun budaya berbasis data dalam mendorong peningkatan kinerja institusi secara berkelanjutan.
