Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in supporting the rural economy. However, many MSME actors have not optimally utilized digital technology for product marketing. This condition also occurs among MSME actors in Rejosopinggir Village, Tembelang District, Jombang Regency, who still rely on conventional marketing methods and have limitations in using marketplaces and product packaging techniques. Therefore, this community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of MSME actors in utilizing digital marketing, particularly in the use of marketplaces and product packaging techniques. The methods applied include training, awareness enhancement, and mentoring. The training phase was conducted through material delivery and hands-on practice on marketplace usage, product photography, product description writing, and packaging techniques. The awareness enhancement phase aimed to build understanding of the importance of digital transformation and business legality, while the mentoring phase ensured the practical implementation of digital marketing strategies. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge and skills in creating marketplace accounts, uploading products, and applying safer and more professional packaging techniques. In addition, participants demonstrated increased readiness to utilize digital technology as a marketing tool. This activity proves that digital marketing training and mentoring are effective in enhancing the capacity of MSME actors and supporting sustainable rural economic development.
