Abstract

Abstract

This article discusses efforts to develop economic potential through digital marketing strategies in Jatimlerek Village, Plandaan District, Jombang Regency. This research was conducted by lecture and students of the STIE PGRI Dewantara Jombang during 30 days. The background to this article is the minimal availability of economic potential in Jatimlerek Village. The aim of this research is to provide provisions for business actors, especially teenagers, in developing economic potential in the digital era. The method used in this research is socialization. The research results show that Jatimlerek Village has economic potential in the agricultural sector. The majority of people are commodities in this sector. The workshop was held to provide an understanding of digital marketing, E-Commerce, and the use of social media in business. This community service allows MSMEs in Jatimlerek Village to set up online shops and promote their goods through markets and social media and ultimately make more money. Jatimlerek Village MSMEs can expand their market by opening their online shop. Apart from that, the design of MSME product packaging and websites is an external part of this community service activity. This program fulfills the tri dharma of higher education and provides community service. Apart from that, this program helps government programs to improve the ability of MSMEs to compete in the global market and improve the welfare of local communities The conclusion of this research is that digital marketing can be a solution in developing the economic potential of Jatimlerek Village. The MSME Workshop Program provides provisions for business actors to compete in the digital era. Even though the results are not yet significant, this program has the potential to help people adopt economic digitalization.
